"Uncanny Valley "uncanny valley" is a remark within robotics, which describes how humans react to robots that are humanoid. The majority of people are comfortable with robots that look similar to humanoids in appearance, a head sitting on an torso that has two legs and arms. When robots begin to look more like human beings, many people feel that they have an "eerie" and "uncanny" sensation. This is due to the fact that the appearances and actions, though similar, aren't exactly right.
Human audiences, on the other hand, are able to react well to fictional humanoid robots that are just as humans, since they're played by actors from the human race. For instance, consider the humanoid robots from Star Trek or West World. Star Trek or West World universes.
The"uncanny valley" can be seen in other depictions of human beings too. For instance, computer-generated animation has become very real, however "animated" human beings can be a bit disturbing or "uncanny" impression to them.
The creation of cheap sex dolls are a different business where the uncanny valley takes place. While they've been in the news recently however, there's nothing new with sexual dolls.
